The Rotary Club of Warrnambool was Chartered on the 20th November,1929 (Charter No.3237) with 26 members; today the Club has 63 members drawn from across the community.
Warrnambool has four Rotary Clubs: a day break Club, a luncheon Club and two dinner Clubs. We are the Tuesday evening dinner Club.
Warrnambool (approx pop 33,000) is 3 hours drive south west from Melbourne situated at the western end of the ruggedly picturesque Great Ocean Road.
Since Warrnambool is the only city situated along the Shipwreck Coast it has become the major regional business center servicing a diversity of industries including: tourism, education, health, dairy, meat processing, clothing manufacture and construction.
Warrnambool's mild temperatures range between a summer average maximum of 22°C and a winter average maximum temperature of 14°C.
